When 'long' isn't 'long enough' you've sometimes just got to go the extra yard.
Only in the case of a unique long-wheelbase Audi A8 it's an extra 1.1 metres to be precise.
The automaker has built a bespoke extended A8 L with six doors for a customer in Europe.
And the estimated cost of the giant auto is an estimated €350,000.
It is hard to believe but it is 6.36m long (that is nearly 21 feet), has a 4.22m wheelbase - and other customers are showing an interest. Audi say, however, they have no plans to start a production line as such.
But you can buy duplicates for as long as the current A8 is around.
The six-seater has a 2.4m glass roof panel and weighs 2,418kg (320kg more than the 4.2-litre diesel A8 L). But this is powered by a 3.0 TFSI (306bhp) petrol and has an 8spd automatic gearbox as well as quattro all-wheel drive.
