AUDI has just brought in a revised A1 with prices starting at €21,450 on-the-road.
Much of the focus will be on the frugal 3-cyl 'ultra' engines though the driver information system and multi-function steering wheel are now standard.
And there's more spec on SE and S line versions. SE gets 16ins alloys, LED rear lights, rear-parking sensors, rear spoiler and wing mirrors, sports seats and front centre armrest. That comes to €1,600 extra.
S Line costs €3,000 more than the entry-level with sports suspension, 17ins alloys, sports seats, xenon headlights, front fogs, Drive Select, chrome exhaust tips etc.
Five-door versions of the A1 cost €600 more.
There are two 'ultra' engines: a 1-litre TFSI 95bhp and 1.4TDI 90bhp diesel. Emissions are as low as 89g/100km (€180 road tax). Automatic S tronic transmission costs an extra €2,300.
