AUDI here is adding a 340bhp version of the Q5 crossover to its lineup.
The SQ5 TDI plus is due on sale in February and will be the most powerful version of the mid-size SUV.
As well as all that power it will have a sport differential and 20in alloys.
The 3-litre bi-turbo V6 TDI produces 14bhp more than the current SQ5 TDI - as well as storming to 100kmh in 5.1 seconds.
Audi is claiming 6.6 litres of fuel/100km, but with emissions of 174g/km the road tax will be €750 a year.
With quattro permanent all-wheel drive it will, for the first time in this motor, have a sport differential at the rear axle which can distribute power to the wheels for even better grip.
It will cost from €85,250.
