€300,000 for Audi' R8 '24' supercar

This is a limited, special edition of Audi's R8 supercar.
It is called the 'Selection 24' and is based on the R8 Coupe V10 Plus.
And the reason for it being made at all is to do 'homage' to the Nürburgring-winning Audi R8 LMS.
I'm told it will be sold out shortly because they are only making 24 - that's what you called scarcity. And while there have been no Irish enquiries as yet, the '24' would cost around €40,000 more than the current R8 V10 Plus. So expect to shell out around €300,000 for starters.
Setting it apart visually from the non-24 cars are its tricolour paint finish (Suzuka grey, mythos black and Misano red highlights) as well as an extensive technical package.
The mid-engined '24' (5.2-litre V10, 610hp) accelerates to 100kmh in just 3.2 seconds. It has a top speed of 330 kmh.
Audi say that makes the car their fastest and most powerful production of all time.
The technical package in the "24h" edition includes dynamic steering; adaptive damper control system, Audi magnetic ride and laser lighting.
