Jag's XE technology really puts the driver InControl

Jaguar's new XE will get the full infotainment treatment with a system they are calling 'InControl'.
The focus is an 8ins touchscreen interface with smartphone integration for iOS and Android. They have specially designed apps and the system can work as a Wifi hotspot for several devices.
It can also remotely start the engine, pre-set the heating/cooling system, unlock the car and, of course, find it for you in a car park. And there is a laser projected head-up display, something they are claiming as an 'industry first'.
Should the BMW 3-series rival be stolen, the InControl system can work as a tracking device.
With new engines from its Ingenium line-up, the XE will have three spec levels from the start: the entry-level XE, XE S and XER-S.
The car will be unveiled in London on September 8.
