BMW's new M6 GranCoupe will debut in Detroit, Michigan, next month with a 552bhp twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 engine.
This will rival the Mercedes CLS63 AMG, Porsche Panamera Turbo and much-awaited Audi RS7.
Despite all the hoopla, it weighs just 5kg more than the M5.
BMW claim it will go from a standing start to 100kmh in 4.2 seconds.
It is due for release here on May 25 and will cost €181,180 on the road.
