This five bedroom dormer bungalow, Fernhurst, sits on Windgate Road near Howth Summit, a popular area for well-to-do Northside families.

From the outside, it is relatively plain with a white plaster finish with split level accommodation - a two-storey property with a long, low single storey extension to the side which was a traditional finish in the 1970s and 80s.

Howth Village is down the hill, while the transport links to the airport, M1 and M50 are just 13km away, while Sutton, with its train station, is 4km away. Three golf courses are adjacent - Deer Park, Sutton and Howth.

There is plenty of parking available and the agent says this let will typically suit an executive family, although it might also suit someone remodelling their own property who needs somewhere to reside while works are being undertaken.

Given its proximity to the airport (17km), a foreign professional could commute quite well.
