Savings to be made with Foxwood builds
Foxwood, Waterford City

There are six four-bed semi-detached properties remaining at this development off the Six Cross Roads outside Waterford City, with a new phase due to come on stream soon.
Four individual house styles were built at Foxwood, but the cheapest properties - three-beds costing just €149,950 - are sold out. There are two four-bed house types left, priced at €185,000 and €210,000, respectively.
The former, which has a similar layout to the three-bed, measures 1,200 sq ft. The latter four-bed is more expensive because it is larger, at 1,378 sq ft, the difference being accounted for by the conversion of a garage space to the side.
This now houses a study and utility room.
These affordable double-fronted homes, built by local developer Noel Frisby Construction, are aimed at professionals and young families.
Interior features include fitted kitchens, fireplaces and built-in wardrobes.
Solar panels help give the properties an A3 energy rating. There will be landscaped gardens to the front of each house and fully landscaped public green areas.
Foxwood is about 3.5km outside Waterford City, close to Williamstown Golf Course, the Waterford Institute of Technology and schools.
