Prices have been cut at two of the six semi-detached homes at Sheils Court, a new scheme on the grounds of Rathcoole House, a period property owned by the Sheil family from the early 19th century to the mid-1960s.
The selling agent and developer is seeking to reinvigorate demand from the hundreds of prospective buyers who have visited Sheils Court by reducing prices for numbers 4 and 5 to €399,950 from €450,000.
Accommodation at each of these three-storey four-beds extends to about 1,650 sq ft. It comprises of an entrance hall, a guest WC, sitting room, kitchen/dining room on the ground floor and three bedrooms - one of which is ensuite - and a bathroom on the first floor.
There is a master bedroom with an ensuite and a dressing room on the second floor.
The properties will be sold with fitted contemporary kitchens, high performance double-glazed windows by Carlson, fitted bedroom wardrobes from Bedroom Elegance, and tiling and quality sanitary ware throughout the downstairs WC, the bathrooms and ensuites.
There is cobblelock parking to the front of the homes, and a paved patio and seeded garden out back.
The central heating system is provided by an A-rated gas-condensing boiler and three solar panels boost the supply of hot water.
A heat recovery ventilation system supplies fresh air and reduces condensation and dust.
Sheils Court, located on Rathcoole's Main Street, is less than a 10 minute walk to the red Luas line at Saggart.
