The last phase at Cooper's Wood, a high-end development in Kinsealy aimed at growing families and trader-uppers, is launching this weekend, with just 10 semi-detached and detached homes for sale.
The Chapel Road scheme, close to the seaside villages of Malahide and Portmarnock, features a 2.2ac park and a private playground, which has to date helped attract expanding families to the development. Built by Maybury Properties, the scheme will have just 38 houses when it is complete.
This final release includes two types of three-bed semi-detached homes and two styles of four-bed detached properties. Sizes at the three-beds range from 1,212 sq ft to 1,253 sq ft, with prices starting at €425,000.
Prices for the four-bed detached styles go from €575,000, with two different sizes available, namely one type measuring 1,528 sq ft and the other spanning 1,657 sq ft.
The exteriors are finished in a mottled brown brick, with cream trim, concrete roof tiles and a blue door. Inside, Nolan's Kitchens have added soft close-drawers to the kitchen units and finished them in a matt taupe colour.
The kitchens have a contemporary design with shaker detail and square edge solid quartz stone worktops. Kitchen appliances from Neff and Nordmende are included in all of the house types, with bedroom wardrobes by Cawleys and Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware in the bathrooms and ensuites.
In the four-bed detached dwellings, there are sliding doors that can be opened between the dining/kitchen area and the main living room, creating plenty of space for a party or a family gathering.
The four-beds also have additional interior features in the form of coving and radiator covers in the downstairs areas and wall panelling in the hall, stairs and landing.
Energy efficient measures at the Cooper's Wood properties include an A-rated gas boiler, solar panels, a wood-burning stove and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems.
Kinsealy itself is 7km north of Dublin City Centre, which can be reached by a regular service provided by the 42 and 43 bus routes.
Portmarnock Dart Station is only 2km away, with an average journey time to Pearse Station taking about 25 minutes. Viewings at Cooper's Wood will be held between 12pm and 2pm tomorrow and Sunday.
