The affluent Dublin 6 village of Rathgar is dominated by red-brick late Georgian and Victorian terraces, but tucked away off Garville Avenue, close to its junction with Rathgar Road, is a terrace of an altogether different kind - a contemporary-style row of eight homes, all priced above €1m.

The development of three-storey terraced homes is called Garville Drive. A first phase of four homes was launched in September and a second phase followed at the end of March, with prices starting at €1.075m. Two of the more expensive houses from the final batch are still for sale: one is a three-bed-plus-study end-of-terrace property selling for €1.225m and the other is a four-bed end-of-terrace home priced from €1.25m.

Garville Drive is a few minutes' walk to Rathgar Village. The city centre is 4km away.
