Design tips and €1,000 voucher for early Abbot's Grove buyers
Abbot's Grove, Knocklyon, Dublin 16
While the starting price of €310,000 for the three-bed duplexes being launched this weekend at Abbot's Grove on the outskirts of Knocklyon is bound to attract first-time buyers, the developer has thrown in an added sweetener for those purchasers quickest off the mark.
The first four buyers of the eight duplexes at the Stocking Avenue development will receive a free design consultation with prize-winning architect and designer Denise O'Connor, who co-presents the RTE show Design Doctors, as well as a €1,000 voucher from BoConcept, the Danish furniture brand, to dress their new home.
The first phase of Abbot's Grove was launched in September by Winterbrook, the company led by Francis Rhatigan which is also developing the neighbouring Dalriada estate, a mixed development of apartments, duplexes and houses.
Prices for the newest arrivals to Abbot's Grove start at €310,000 for a 1,091 sq ft duplex on the upper floor and at €340,000 for a 1,339-sq ft unit on the lower floor.
The DDA Architects-designed properties come with contemporary-style kitchens and worktops, fitted classic shaker-style wardrobes in each bedroom and Twyford sanitary ware with heated towel rails in the bathroom. Each of the homes has a mechanical heat recovery ventilation system that extracts stale air and pushes back in fresh cool air, PV panels to generate electricity, and a Climote system to control the central heating.
The 15 and 15B bus stops serve the estate and the duplex showhomes are on view tomorrow and Sunday between 12 noon and 2pm.
