In the early 20th century, Rathcoole consisted of just one street. The village's expansion exploded during the boom and Rathcoole is now enjoying somewhat of another building revival.
Aubrey Manor is no different, with the final phase of the 38-unit development coming just six months after the last tranche of homes there was released.
There are eight properties for sale in the last phase. Three of them are four-bed homes that come with a double garage and two reception rooms and cost between €395,000 and €415,000, depending on their size and other factors.
There are also five semi-detached properties with five bedrooms available. Two of them are going for between €435,000 and €450,000, depending on their location within the development and whether they have a view of the Dublin Mountains.
The two other five-beds are slightly larger, and command a price range of €475,000 to €495,000. That extra space comes in the form of an extension to the rear of the kitchens, which existing homeowners in the development have mostly used as TV lounge/playroom for their children, as well as floored attic space with a Stira staircase.
They also have the added bonus of a south-facing back garden.
All of the A-rated homes offer buyers a choice of kitchens supplied and fitted by QK Living, complete with granite worktops and splashbacks. A range of AEG appliances are included in the sale. Buyers will not have to pay management fees.
The exteriors are a mottled ochre brick to the front, with cream-coloured sills and surrounds. The front door is black with glazed panels to either side. Driveways are cobbled with brick-wall separators.
Rathcoole is south west of south Dublin, and lies just off the N7 national primary road and the M50. The nearest Luas stop is at Citywest.
