There are four new houses available at Oldbridge Station, a scheme of two, three and four-bed properties being developed by Springwood near Naas that's attracting commuters to Dublin due to its proximity to the Sallins and Naas Train Station.
Springwood, which has been building housing estates in Naas and Sallins over the last two decades, typically completes and sells at least two units at a time at Oldbridge Station in Osberstown, which is just a four-minute walk to the rail station.
At present, there are two four-bed and two three-bed semi-detached homes on the market at Oldbridge Station. Prices for the three-bed version start at €299,950, with one four-bed costing from €325,000 and one four-bed on a corner site commanding a price tag of €335,000.
The four-beds have 1,528 sq ft of accommodation laid out over three storeys, while the three-beds measure 1,200 sq ft, excluding the 343 sq ft in the fully-floored attic, and extend over two floors.
The exteriors at Oldbridge Station are finished in a mix of ochre brick and cream render, with front windowsills in granite. The front gardens are open-plan, with planted shrubbery rather than walls dividing cobble-lock driveways. There is a patio off the living area that overlooks a landscaped rear garden with masonry surrounding walls.
The four-beds have a fully integrated kitchen with a dining area, a living room and a guest WC on the ground floor. Three bedrooms, including the main ensuite, and a bathroom are located on the first floor and the second floor is home to a further ensuite bedroom.
Both house types have a building energy rating of A3. Energy efficient features include roof-lights on the top floor that maximise natural daylight, an A-rated gas condensing boiler for a central heating system that can be controlled at each floor and a heat-recovery ventilation system.
The living rooms come with a stone fireplace with a granite hearth and gas fire, and there are bespoke wardrobes in each bedroom.
The contemporary high-gloss kitchen units are from Gallagher Kitchens, though an allowance is available to facilitate buyers who want another kitchen finish.
The showhouses at Oldbridge Station will be on view from 1pm tomorrow.
