Ireland's newest interiors festival is ready to share insider knowledge and expert advice to people looking to turn their house into a home.

House 2016, brought to the Main Hall of Dublin's RDS by Independent News & Media, kicks off this afternoon and runs until Sunday.

Over 150 interior professionals, including Pollard Design, Red Earth and Arena Kitchens, will be exhibiting at the event.

Top designers and architects, including RTÉ's Dermot Bannon, will take to the Inspiration Stage to share their savvy home makeover tips.

Contemporary art also forms a key part of the schedule, with top Irish artists including Orla Walsh, Jane Ryan and Gill Hennessy showcasing their work at the Art Loft.
