It's more than the average Irish salary, but one New York hotel sees €68,000 as a reasonable price for a one stay.
The penthouse suite at The Mark Hotel in Manhattan is 12,000 square foot and comes in tied with the Royal Penthouse Suite at the President Wilson Geneva in Switzerland as the most expensive hotel room int he world.
With five bedrooms and six bathrooms over two floors, the suite boasts unparallelled views of New York City - as well as a conservatory, two wet bars, and a library lounge, according to Elite Traveler.
The private rooftop terrace is 2,500 square feet overlooking Central Park, the Plaza Hotel and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
