Inside the home of public relations guru Lynn Hunter
Public Relations guru Lynn looks after the likes of Conor McGregor and Parfois accessories as head honcho of Hunter Communications. Here she lets us peek into her stunning Clontarf abode...
"I live in a 1940s house which was renovated with a modern glass box extension and internal courtyard. My style is eclectic and I love to combine new with old vintage pieces from my grandmother's house and charity shops. I mix up freshly cut garden flowers to create lots of colours and style.""The internal courtyard is positioned between my living room and kitchen.
It is in the middle of the house and separates the old from the new, it brings in incredible light in both rooms. I plant herbs in the springtime and my Christmas tree lives in this space for a few weeks in December.
Lighting is important for a cosy home – I use lots of lamps which are dotted around the living area and kitchen""I prefer to shop alone for furniture but my aunt Maureen and sisters have incredible taste when it comes to purchasing new furniture and decorating my house. They have been known to change a few things around when I'm not looking."
"Start with brilliant white and then add colour with prints, cushions and rugs. I'm a fan of clashing patterns in similar tones. Old furniture have their own stories and they become part of mine."
