With the release of his second Darren Kennedy for Louis Copeland collection, we get inside the stylist-turned-designer's bright, spacious home where he fuses colour and comfort.
And would you look at his doggy! Ahh.
"I've a bit of a shoe collection and I like to see them in all their glory so they've become as much a part of the decor as they have my wardrobe."
Darren says: "Unintentional, eclectic and a little bit mis-matched. That's the way I like it. I guess my interior style reflects my life over the past couple of years – my travels, my family, my work, my hobbies. I love pops of bold bright colour and graphic print but nothing that's going to give you a headache.
"Over the years, we've picked up some great pieces from Decor on Wexford Street. Everything from a red Chinese cabinet to a giant Buddha. Ikea is great for casual throws, and I'm a regular in my local garden centre. I love indoor plants; they really bring a space to life and change with the seasons.""My partner Aidan painted a couple of the bigger canvas paintings so they take pride of place for obvious reasons. I've also lots of framed pictures of family which are very important to me."
"Like with personal style, don't be too cautious when it comes to decorating and allow things to happen organically. Everything doesn't have to be coordinated.
"The living space is my favourite room in the house – it's open, airy, bright and it just feels like home."
"I love fabric and how different textures interact with each other and this is reflected in my personal style and my home."
