House-hunting vintage car enthusiasts with deep pockets would have the ideal space to park their prized treasure at Brookfield Mews - each of the terraced homes in the enclave just off Carysfort Avenue in Blackrock has an integrated car port to the front of the ground floor.

The homes on Brookfield Terrace are close to Blackrock Village, Carysfort Park and the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, so they will also likely appeal to international buyers, professional couples and families looking to trade up in the area.

Prices start at €1.1m for the mid-terrace style and go up to €1.23m for the furnished showhome.

Brookfield Mews is being built by Oakmount, a consortium led by serial bar and restaurant developers Paddy McKillen Jr and Matt Ryan, the team responsible for recent Ballsbridge schemes such as 55 Percy Place, a canal-side scheme comprising of 12 bespoke apartments and a ground floor eatery, and One Percy Lane, a tranche of mews with black zinc roofs.

There are just four homes at Brookfield Mews, one of which has already been reserved. Each extends over 2,110 sq ft, excluding the 204 sq ft for the car port.

The facades of the four-bed two-storey houses are either clad in original granite from the site or in brick.

There are charcoal grey casement-style double-glazed windows to the rear of each property, allowing for ample lighting throughout the day from all aspects of the house.

The accommodation comprises four bedrooms, including a master ensuite with walk-in wardrobes, an open-plan kitchen/living space/dining space, and a main bathroom.

At the back of the ground floor, bi-folding doors open on to an external terrace, with plenty of seating for al-fresco dining, and a private walled garden.

There is also a decked internal courtyard with walk-on glass roofing that is accessible from two of the bedrooms on the upper floor.

Special features at the properties, designed by Edmondson Architects and fitted out by Bushell Interiors, include dramatic use of skylights and high ceilings.

There is a Spanish limestone floor from the entrance hall to the kitchen, with smoked oak floors in the bedrooms and the living room.

The bespoke kitchens at Brookfield Mews have also been fitted out by Bushell Interiors, using their German brand Allmilmo, with Siemen appliances throughout and Calacatta marble tops.

The smart development is close to some of Dublin's finest schools, including Blackrock College and St Andrew's College.

Viewings at the scheme will be held from 10am-12pm tomorrow.
