Victoria Homes expects the eight three-bed and four-bed homes it is building in the popular Manor Estate area of Templeogue to sell off the plans entirely when the development is launched on Wednesday.
The developer is taking bookings on two three-bed semi-detached homes, two three-bed end-of-terrace properties and four four-bed mid-terrace homes at 47-61 Wellington Road.
The three-bed semis, which have accommodation laid out over 1,152 sq ft and has south-facing gardens, are priced at €485,000. Prices for the three-bed end-of-terrace properties, which have a floor size of 1,310 sq ft and west-facing gardens, have been set at €510,000. The four-bed mid-terrace homes, which also have west-facing gardens and have 1,618 sq ft in floor space, are priced at €530,000.
The feature fireplaces in these homes come with the option of gas insert. All of the houses will come with timber floors, and buyers will have a choice of paint colours for the internal walls and ceilings. There is also a choice of tiling for the properties' white bathroom suites.
Would-be home-owners at Wellington Road will be able to lower their utility bills because the properties have been given an A3 building energy rating; PV solar panels installed on each house will harness solar radiation and convert it to generate electricity. Outside, the private gardens are fully walled to the front and rear and there is off-street parking.
These upmarket properties will especially appeal to children, dog-walkers and runners, because they are close to Tymon Park, a 300-acre greenbelt between Templeogue and Walkinstown. Golfers can use the nearby Carr Golf Centre at the Spawell complex, which features a golf academy, a 48-bay driving range, and an 18-hole pitch and putt course. Nearby schools include Terenure College, Templeogue College, St Joseph's & St Peter's national schools, and the Presentation primary school.
