Three on offer with more to come in Kilcock
The Ryebridge, Kilcock, Co Kildare
The meandering Rye river inspired the name of The Ryebridge, a development located between the north Kildare village of Kilcock, school GAA grounds and the river itself.
Indeed, there is a landscaped walkway along the river into the centre of the canal-side village.
REA Coonan is selling three-bedroom semi-detached homes at The Ryebridge, a scheme with a mix of two-bed apartments and two, three and four-bed houses.
Built by Merlon Contractors Ltd, some 275 homes have been sold at the development to date.
Prices for the new three-beds, which have 1,282 sq ft of living space, range from €257,500 to €260,000. About 11 of the three-beds have sold since the start of the year and there are currently three properties on offer, with more to be released later in 2016. Each of the homes has a pitched roof, a canopy over the hardwood front door, and an exterior finished with render and handmade brick. There are attic trusses to give buyers the option to add extra space.
The cobble-lock driveway and seeded front garden are separated from those of neighbouring properties by wrought-iron railings, and there is a patio and garden to the rear. Inside, there are fitted kitchens, wardrobes and fireplaces.
There are four schools within a five-minute walk from The Ryebridge and there are two full-size GAA pitches, an all-weather running track and canoeing facilities on the nearby Royal Canal.
Kilcock Train Station is also just a few minutes' walk from the development, while recent improvements to the M4 motorway has improved access to and from Dublin and the rest of the country.
