Three available at Drogheda development

J. Murphy Developments, a family-owned business that's been building estates in Drogheda for 43 years, says the appeal of a 35-minute commute to the M50 has been driving scores of buyers priced out of Dublin to Knightswood, its new estate in the south of Drogheda (on the Meath side) that is just 1km away from the M1 motorway to the capital.

Knightswood, on Matthews Lane, will have 125 units when it's finished. There are three properties currently available at the development, which is arranged around a large green space. Two are three-bed semi-Ds, each with 1,200 sq ft of living space and a €254,000 price tag. The third is a 1,050sq ft, three-bed townhouse selling for €240,000. More houses are due to come on stream at Knightswood at the end of August. None of the homes are overlooked, which is a plus for Dubliners. For families, there is a crèche within the development itself.

The showhouse is open Wednesdays 5.30pm-7.30pm and Sundays 3pm-5pm.
