Sitting on the corner of Orwell Park and Road, this period building used to be a boutique hotel but has now been completely remodelled into five apartments which are now offered for sale.

Laid out over three floors, many of the old hotel's original period features have been retained, such as high ceilings and cornicing.

The top floor penthouse unit still has the original roof dome in its living room, while each apartment comes carpeted and tiled and the kitchen finished in a high-gloss cream with integrated Neff and Bosch appliances.

The ground floor apartments (numbers one and two) are 1,337 sq ft selling for €600,000 and 1,353 sq ft at €575,000, respect-ively. Private gardens are included and the first has parking space for two cars, the second for one. The building also has a lift for residents.

Numbers three and four are on the first floor and 869 sq ft (€450,000) and 831 sq ft (€475,000) respectively. These have large west-facing terraces to the front and number three has an additional terrace off the main bedroom.

As with the other units they have two bedrooms, one en-suite, a main bathroom, a kitchen/dining area and sitting room.

The penthouse on the top measures 1,785 sq ft and is priced at €700,000. Its two bedrooms are both en suite, the master with a separate dressing room. There is a living room (featuring the domed ceiling), a small study and kitchen/dining area.

Service charges for the units are €3,900 and they come with a C1 BER rating. Orwell Road is within 3.5km of the Three 'Rs' – Rathmines, Rathgar and Ranelagh.

The Milltown Luas stop is a 1km walk, passing Milltown Golf Club, while St Stephen's Green is 6.5km.
