A new show house has opened to market the final house type at Coill Dubh, a development on the outskirts of the upmarket village of Malahide.
The new house type in the last phase is a four-bed semi-detached unit and there are just five properties for sale.
The name Coill Dubh, a scheme of 74 houses launched last year, translates as 'black wood' and was inspired by the adjoining Blackwood Lane, which leads to the 27 hole Malahide Golf Club.
The development of family homes is laid out in a series of small cul-de-sacs surrounding a landscaped open space, opposite Malahide Community School in Broomfield.
About half of the development is now occupied, with the remaining houses expected to be finished over the next two months.
The last five homes at Coill Dubh, which are ready to move into, are priced from €580,000. Each of the double-fronted, A-rated dwellings has a floor space spanning 1,377 sq ft.
The exterior has a pitched roof and a red-brick and cream render façade. Coill Dubh is about a mile from Malahide Village and close to Malahide Castle, the marina, and the beach.
Viewing is by appointment, and further information is available on www.coilldubh.ie.
