School around the corner from Kilheale
Kilheale Manor, Kill, Co Kildare
Cavan Developments, the company responsible for Broadfield Manor in Rathcoole, Co Dublin, last weekend launched the third phase of Kilheale Manor in nearby Kill Village, with further viewings scheduled for this weekend.
There are 10 three-bed and four-bed semi-detached properties available in the latest tranche, all of which are being sold off the plans. Unusually, both the three and four-bed homes are the same size and price, with both types measuring 1,350 sq ft and costing €317,000, respectively. The roofs of both styles will be specially designed so they can accommodate an additional room.
The Kilheale Manor homes will especially appeal to buyers with young children, as there is a new primary school catering to both boys and girls within walking distance of the scheme. The façades of these traditionally built concrete homes are either full or half-brick with granite windowsills. There is a walled garden out the back and the front garden has cobble-lock paving and parking for three cars.
The fitted kitchens and utility rooms come with appliances as standard and there are built-in wardrobes with brushed steel ironmongery in each bedroom. The ensuites are fitted with thermostatically-controlled pumped showers, while each bathroom has a corner bath.
Other finishes include decorative coving to the ceilings in the sitting room and hall, a solid oak handrail to the staircase and a fitted fireplace in the living room.
All of the homes will have an A3 energy rating thanks to features such as a gas-fired central heating system.
The village of Kill is at the edge of the greater Dublin area and it takes just 10 minutes to drive to the Red Cow roundabout, along the N7. From there, or from Saggart, commuters can use the Luas to reach the city centre.
Sales at Kilheale Manor are being conducted at Cavan Developments' showhouse at Broadfield Manor, a 10 minute drive away. Another phase at Broadfield Manor is expected to launch later this summer. The showhouse is open tomorrow and Sunday, from 2pm-5pm.
