Plant list for a woodland garden
• Winter aconite
• Wood Anemone
• Trillium grandiflorum
• Solomon's seal
By building up your collection of the above plants and by dividing most on a regular basis, you will begin to see your woodland garden evolve.
All of the above plants will take a certain amount of shade and all will appreciate humus-rich soil, so add in as much organic matter as you can afford, while you wait for your own leaf mould and compost to break down.
Get into the habit of swapping a few plants with friends to get a bit of diversity into your patch.
