This is the fixer-upper in Dublin’s Rathmines that Amy Huberman and Brian O’Driscoll are believed to have their hearts set on.
The Irish star couple have told friends that they are in negotiations to buy the five-bedroom Victorian property on Dublin’s south side, according to The Sunday World.
The pair currently live in Brian’s house in Goatstown with their two children Sadie (3) and Billy (1), which the Ireland rugby star bought for €1m in 2005, five years before he wed Amy.
The €2m semi-detached property, up for sale in D6, is currently divided into three flats and extensive renovations will need to be undertaken to transform it into a livable space for the couple and their young family.
Planning permission has already been approved, should future owners wish to turn the property into one residence.
The hefty €1.95m price tag might be out of reach for the average Joe, but O’Driscoll’s firm ODM Promotions Ltd reported profits of €4.4m last year.
The property the pair are keen to snap up is currently on the market through Sherry Fitzgerald for €1.95m.
Brian and Amy clearly are fans of interior design as the couple renovated their current residence in Goatstown just two years ago ahead of Billy's arrival in November 2014. The project included the addition of a granny flat and increased security features to protect the family's privacy.
Meanwhile, the couple seemed to be preparing for a different occasion throughout the October Bank Holiday weekend, eyeing up a few turkeys for Christmas.
The actress posted a photo with her husband of six years on Instagram as the pair posed with poultry on Sunday.
