One four-bed semi still to be snapped up in Shankhill
Shanganagh Drive, Shankhill, Dublin

A single four-bed semi-detached house is available at Shanganagh Drive, an enclave of four homes in Shankill situated on a secluded site where a 1920s home called Bognor once stood. The development, off River Lane, is aimed at the trader-upper market. The homes, first launched in September, were constructed by the McGrath Group, the developer behind The Crofton apartments in Dun Laoghaire.
The final property for sale is No2 Shanganagh Drive, which is priced at €575,000. Like its neighbouring houses, it was designed with families in mind: its 1,744 sq ft of accommodation is spread over three floors. The façade is finished in a neutral render with a sage and cream window trim and a panelled front door. There is cobble-lock parking for two cars out front, and a south-facing split-level garden and patio to the rear.
Inside the ground floor has a living room with a wood-burning stove up front. At the back, there is a kitchen/dining room with a small lounge: this space has extra natural light as a result of a vaulted atrium window. The fitted classic kitchen with painted units is by Nolan's and comes with stone worktops, a pull-out larder system, an island unit with a breakfast bar, a full range of Bosch appliances, and porcelain Lord Marfil tiling. French doors open onto the patio.
The first floor has three bedrooms, including the master ensuite, and a family bathroom. The top floor is home to a further bedroom, also ensuite, with a walk-in wardrobe. The bathrooms and main ensuite are tiled and have stone vanity shelves with fitted mirrors.
The A2-rated homes are on the Loughlinstown side of Shankill. The village's Dart station is about a 10-minute walk away, while the closest Luas stop is at Cherrywood, a 25-minute walk. The village is also served by a number of bus routes.
Viewings at No2 Shanganagh Drive will be held between 1pm and 1.30pm tomorrow.
