Nine remain with more phases to come in Swords estate
Fairbrook, Swords, Co Dublin
In September 2014, house-hunters with cheques and bank drafts in hand spent nights waiting outside Millers Glen in Swords so they could book their house of choice in the first new estate built in Dublin in seven years.
A year later, Gannon Homes, the developer, launched Fairbrook at Millers Glen, a sister development built on the same huge tract of land on the outskirts of Swords.
While there are more phases at Fairbrook planned for the future, there are just nine units remaining from the initial tranche.
Five of these are three-bed properties priced from €285,000 and measuring 1,195 sq ft, while four are 1,582-sq ft four-beds costing from €420,000. The exteriors are a mix of mottled brown brick on the first floor with cream render on the top floor.
Instead of front or side walls, the cobble-lock driveways are enclosed by bow-topped iron-cast railings. Fitted timber side gates provide separate access to the rear gardens.
Inside, the kitchens and wardrobes are supplied by Cawleys. The three-beds' kitchens are shaker-style and in classic cashmere, and the four-bed kitchens are in a classic stone grey.
One of the biggest selling points at Fairbrook is the proximity to local schools - there are two primary schools across the road. Swords is 2km away, while Airside Retail Centre and the Pavilions Shopping Centre are both 3km away.
Viewings of the showhouses will be held tomorrow and Sunday, between 2pm and 4pm.
