During a summer pre-launch, nine properties were snapped up at Blackberry Hill, a new development of semi-detached and detached houses set amidst spacious landscaped grounds off the Old Glenamuck Road in Carrickmines.
But there are still 34 more up for grabs for the scheme's official launch this weekend.
Blackberry Hill, situated on Golf Lane, is tapping into demand for family homes in South Dublin. Indeed, enquiries to date have mainly been from families trading up from smaller houses in the surrounding areas of Sandyford, Dundrum and Stepaside, according to the selling agent.
There are two house types, A and B, at Blackberry Hill. Type A is a semi-detached four-bed-plus-study priced from €650,000 and measuring 2,218 sq ft. Type B is also a four-bed-plus-study style, but is larger at 2,369 sq ft and costs from €695,000.
The interiors are blessed with high ceilings and flush painted doors with satin-finish ironmongery. The accommodation is laid out over three storeys, with the bedrooms spread out over two floors. The ground floors of both house styles include a separate living room and a large, bright kitchen/dining room with double doors leading to a patio area and rear garden.
