Keeping a close eye on guests with video intercom

According to the selling agents for Monte Verde, at Trees Road, Mount Merrion in Dublin, the house is linked by a video intercom to its entrance gates.
This could be handy, allowing you to deny admittance to any callers if you didn't like the cut of their jib. On the other hand, the driveway is very short, so if the video link broke down, for instance, you could always just peek out the front window instead.
Monte Verde is a semi-detached house at Number 1 Trees Road Lower, just off the Stillorgan Road, and has 2,734 square feet of floor space.
There are three reception rooms, two of them at the front of the house. The first is a sitting room with a sandstone fireplace and bay window, and the second is a drawing room, also with a bay window, and with folding glass panels leading to the family room. This room has a remote-controlled gas fire and floor-to-ceiling windows looking over the patio and back garden. It opens to the kitchen/breakfast room, which has folding doors leading to the deck.
There's also a utility room and guest toilet on the ground floor. A porthole window sheds light on the staircase, leading up to the first-floor landing.
The master bedroom on this floor overlooks the front of the property, and has an en-suite dressing room and shower room.
There are three more bedrooms, one of them with en-suite shower room, as well as the main family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath.
Above is an attic room with built-in wardrobes and another en-suite shower room.
The front garden has been paved and gravelled for off-street parking. The back garden has a lawn, a stone patio and a timber deck.
The agent for the sale is Vincent Finnegan in Dundrum (01 298 4695) and the asking price is €950,000.
