Bailey View, a well-established apartment scheme in Dalkey, Co Dublin, could probably not be better situated, standing as it does between Harbour Road and the sea.

A couple of hundred metres due north-west is Bullock Harbour, for a spot of boating and fishing. Dalkey DART station is about a kilometre away to the southeast. Elsewhere from north to south, as far as the eye can see, is the Irish Sea.

The inhabitants of Bailey View have it all to themselves, as it's a gated community. And there's pedestrian access to the shoreline through a communal patio area, so if the residents get along, they might enjoy some pleasant afternoons together.
