Terenure Square is an enclave of just five contemporary-style homes on an infill site in the heart of the eponymous upmarket village, though there are plans afoot to build a retail unit with large one-bed apartments overhead at a later stage.
The developer is DTW Construction Ltd, which has previously built some 100 houses in Kerry and fitted out the Westin Hotel in Dublin, the Malton Hotel in Killarney and the Xenia Hotel in London.
Terenure Square, launched last weekend, consists of two three-bed semi-detached homes, one two-bed terraced residence, and two three-bed terraced homes.
Prices start at €575,000 for the two-beds, at €625,000 for the three-beds, and at €650,000 for the fully furnished showhouse.
The homes will likely appeal to local buyers who are seeking to downsize from larger properties, yet are keen to stay in Terenure, or to busy professionals working in Dublin City Centre, the selling agent said.
The pale exteriors are all clean lines with energy- efficient Alu-clad windows. The front courtyards feature modern uplighters and there is a designated parking space for each home.
