Some 320 homes have been sold and occupied since The Steeplechase was first launched in 2004. Now the final phase of apartments, townhouses, four- and five-bedroom houses are coming to the market at prices that are up to 53pc lower than they were at peak.

Up to 40 units are going on sale this weekend. Prices start from €125,000 for the one-bedroom apartments (52/53sqm), and from €165,000 for the two-bedroom apartments (74/89sqm).

Meanwhile, three-bedroom duplex-style townhouses measuring 101sqm start from €195,000.

Lastly, the four-bedroom detached houses (122sqm) start from €350,000 and the five-bedroom detached homes (156sqm) are priced from €430,000.

Steeplechase is situated within easy reach of the both the M2 and M3 motorways.

Ratoath is 15 miles from Dublin city centre and has a regular Dublin Bus service The Dunboyne M3 Commuter Rail Line and Park and Ride facilities are 6km away at the M3 Parkway.

Eight different showhomes will be on view this Saturday and Sunday between 2pm and 5pm. They will also be on view each Thursday, Friday and Monday evening from 4pm to 7pm following the initial launch.
