First-time buyers seeking space to accommodate their expanding families and purchasers trading down from south Dublin neighbourhoods have been flocking to Elder Heath since the scheme of semi-detached and detached homes off the Kiltipper Road launched in early 2015.
Now developer Kelland Homes Ltd and selling agent DNG New Homes are releasing a further eight properties at Elder Heath.
All are three-bed semi-detached homes with south-facing rear gardens. Each of the properties has 1,163 sq ft of living space and overlook a common green space. Prices start at €285,000.
There are also a handful of properties from the last tranche at Elder Heath still on the market, including two three-bed semi-detached homes priced from €280,000.
There is one four-bed semi-detached house from the type B range that extends over 1,270 sq ft and costs from €320,000, as well as two four-bed detached homes from type B1 that are priced from €330,000 and measure 1,270 sq ft.
The timber frame-built houses have grey uPVC windows, pitched roofs and the facades are finished in a mix of mottled red and yellow brick, with cream render.
The colours of the brickwork is echoed in the cobbled driveways, and timber side-gates lead to seeded and top-soiled rear gardens.
Each of the A-rated homes, designed by Fenton Associates, has a custom-designed fitted and tiled kitchen with a separate utility room that is shelved and plumbed for a washing machine.
Elder Heath is about 3km from The Square shopping centre in Tallaght and 4.5km away from Tymon Park. Dundrum Town Centre is 10km to the east. Motorists also have access to numerous road networks, including the N81, M50 and the Outer Ring Road, which links to the M7 and M4.
