A choice of eco-friendly semi-detached and detached houses have been launched at the Holywell development, in Kilcoole between Greystones and Delgany, in Co Wicklow.
A combination of solar panels which heat the water, insulation, air tightness, efficient gas boilers and flueless gas fires and efficient light fittings have boosted the building energy rating of these houses to B1. The highest is A1 and the worst is G.
