Carrickmines Green, Dublin 18
One, two-and three- bedroom apartments
The receivers at the Carrickmines Green development in Dublin 18 are selling a selection of apartments, including large own-door units that would suit first-time buyers.
They have already sold about 60 units in the development and in addition, the Larigan/the Hanly Group had sold about 119 units before Anglo-Irish Bank appointed the receivers, John McStay and Jim Luby.
Located at the foot of Glenamuck Road, the development has benefited from the extension of the LUAS Green Line connecting Cherrywood to Dundrum Town centre and St Stephen's Green.
It is also close to the Foxrock junction of the M50 and The Park retail park, where there are plans to develop a new town centre to compete with Dundrum.
The one-bedroom apartments at Carrickmines Green are priced from €145,000; four of these are available. Topping the range is a three-bedroom duplex priced at around €300,000. Ranging in size from 111-125sqm, these would have sold for €675,000 at the market peak in 2006.
Two-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 60-82sqm, are being offered from €185,000. There are six own-door apartments priced from €190,000.
The apartments are set in landscaped grounds among three separate blocks and benefit from designated parking spaces, balconies with glass balustrades and stunning views of the city and surrounding Dublin Mountains. Dual and triple aspects maximise the impact of the setting.
All homes are fitted with modern high gloss contemporary kitchens complete with electrical appliances and granite worktops, white sanitary fittings in the bathrooms and en suites.
