In effect, Warner's Lane is a cul de sac running due north from Dartmouth Road in Ranelagh. Handily enough, though, at the northern end of the street there's a flight of steps taking you up to the Grand Canal bank at Grand Parade.

This means that you can be in St Stephen's Green after about 10 minutes' walk, or in the centre of Ranelagh in about the same length of time. Otherwise, you can walk west along the canal for about 350 metres and board a Luas at Charlemont.
