Chrissy Teigen and John Legend snap up Rihanna’s old house for €12.7m in Beverly Hills
Model Chrissy Teigen and her husband singer John Legend have scooped up a Los Angeles mansion that was formerly owned by Rihanna.
The couple, who are expecting their first child, moved into their new Beverly Hills abode this week.
The €14m (€12.7m) mansion was once the home of Barbados-born songstress Rihanna, and offers extensive ocean views over Los Angeles at the rear of the property.
The 8.520sq ft mansion boasts five bedrooms, a home cinema, a gym and an outdoor pool which makes the most of the Hollywood scenery.
The home features floor-to-ceiling windows throughout its entirety and offers a bright state of the art kitchen which will be ideal for food writer Chrissy Teigan to continue documenting her food creations.
“We’re trying to get the house ready before the baby gets here,” John told Entertainment Tonight.
“I don’t know if we’re going to get it done in time! But we’re going to live in a house that’s at least you know 90pc finished by the time the baby’s here,” he said.
Chrissy revealed that the reason she was not in attendance at this year’s Golden Globes was because of the move and said she was busy “eating donuts” in her new home.
The couple are expecting their first child together in the spring after opening up about their fertility issues earlier this year.
