A dinky cottage on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way might be the cheapest in the country as it gets set to go on auction with a starting price of €17,000.

The stone home, located in Ballyartney overlooks Clonderlaw Bay in Co. Clare, is a 20 minute drive from Kilrush and will be placed up for auction on November 3.

The cottage, Kerniag, is quite small at 77.02 square metres, but boasts two bedrooms, a bathroom, a dining room, and a sunroom.

The cottage’s kitchen is home to a Stanley range, which has been refurbished within the last two years and the front of the home has been fitted with Marvin aluminium windows.

Kerniag has been placed on the market by Cork-based auctioneers DNG Creedon and will be the subject of an auction in Cork’s Imperial Hotel on November 3.

Those interested in the property can view its interior at an open viewing this Saturday November 22 at 11am.
