Hundreds of prospective buyers showed up last weekend for the launch of apartments and duplexes at Carrickmines Green, a development at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, so the selling agent has lined up more viewings for this weekend.
The scheme, which was completed six years ago, is located on the Glenamuck Road in Carrickmines. The design makes the most of its near-rural setting in Dublin 18, with dual aspects and glass balustrade balconies in some of the units. The properties will likely appeal to would-be owner occupiers and investors alike, the agent says.
On offer are a selection of one and two-bed apartments and penthouses and three-bed duplexes, with sizes ranging from 456 sq ft to 1,350 sq ft. They are predominantly located in the Beech, Oak and Laurel blocks of Carrickmines Green. Prices start at €230,000 for a two-bed apartment, climbing to €275,000 for a penthouse. The larger penthouses are priced from €310,000, while a three-bed duplex costs from €360,000.
The apartments count wooden floors and polished granite kitchen among their best interior features. Outside, there are attractive communal areas and gardens. Each unit comes with its own designated car space and there are plenty of parking spaces for visitors too.
The development is just off exit 15 on the M50 and Dundrum Town Centre is a few minutes' drive away.
