The second phase of three and four-bed semi-detached homes in this development in the picturesque village of Termonfeckin all have west-facing back gardens, enabling would-be residents to enjoy the sun from their patio when they return to their homes in the evening.

The developer Broomfield Construction is offering buyers an all-in package, with fit-outs including a choice of kitchens and appliances, fully-tiled bathrooms with heated towel rails as standard, tiling and flooring throughout the ground floor and fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms.

There is an internal skim plaster finish to all of the walls and 9ft high ceilings, which are highlighted by recess LED lights downstairs. There are solid timber-panelled doors throughout.

The outside of the homes have a maintenance-free brick façade, natural sandstone window sills and surrounds, triple-glazed future-proofed Prestige windows and a 90mm hardwood front door with multi-point locking.

There are landscaped front and rear gardens and a cobblelock driveway surrounded by wrought-iron railing.

Each of the twin-leaf concrete-block-built homes come with a high standard of insulation and solar panels to heat water, helping to reduce heating costs in the A-rated properties.

To enhance the security downstairs, windows and external doors are wired for an intruder alarm, while smoke detectors are fitted in the entrance hall and landing.

Prices start at €230,000 for the three-beds, which have 1,200 sq ft of accommodation, and €252,500 for the 1,400 sq ft four-bed house.

The developer, which has also built apartments and homes in Cavan and Monaghan, first launched Castle Park in 2013. The latest phase incorporates numbers 23 to 33 and five of those properties are already sale agreed or sold.

Termonfeckin is less than 10 minutes from Drogheda and the M1 motorway. Castle Park is within easy walking distance of all local amenities, including primary schools, shops, pubs and restaurants, and is close to sandy beaches and the two championship links golf courses at Seapoint and Baltray.
