Fitted kitchens come as standard in Swords abodes
Glebe Hill, Swords, Co Dublin
The first official release of 10 homes has come to the market at Glebe Hill, Highgate Properties' new scheme near Swords Village, after the development's joint selling agents offloaded 11 units in recent weeks during a pre-launch for registered buyers.
The new enclave on the Brackenstown Road, just across from the Ward River Valley Park, will comprise 27 semi-detached three, four and five-bed houses arranged in a cul-de-sac and overlooking a large common green.
There are private gardens to the rear and parking for two cars to the front.
Prices for the 1,292-sq ft three-beds start at €360,000, while the four-beds measure 1,485 sq ft and cost from €420,000. Internal features that come as standard in the price include fitted kitchens from the German designer Kube with integrated Normende appliances, an electric inset fire in the living room, a master ensuite and fitted Kube bedroom wardrobes.
The properties will have an A3 building energy rating, thanks, in part, to the solar panels on the roof that will enable owners to reduce their heating and water costs. There are also uPVC double-glazed windows, a high-efficiency condensing gas boiler, and zone controls for the central heating. Glebe Hill is within walking distance of Main Street in Swords and the Pavilions Shopping Centre. Dublin Airport, the M1 and the M50 are all just a few minutes' drive away and there are frequent bus services to the centre of Dublin on the Swords Express and by Dublin Bus.
