Final Dalriada homes launch
Dalriada, Knocklyon, Dublin 16
Dalriada is a large development of 154 homes built on 12 acres and the section, launching this weekend, is the final piece of the jigsaw with 25 houses of the last 60 under construction.
All will be finished by year end and the mixed development will have two, three and four-bed apartments, duplexes and houses, all with an A3 energy rating.
Built by Francis Rhatigan's Winterbrook Ltd (Rhatigan is former chairman of both the Irish House Builders and Homebond Construction Guarantee schemes), there will be four showhouses on view - styled by Think Contemporary and Ventura design.
The two-bedroom apartment measures 764 sq ft and will be priced from €240,000. The three bed duplex is 1,114 sq ft marketed from €330,000.
There are also three-bedroom town houses which will measure 1,098 - 1,324 sq ft which will start at €360,000, while the four-bedroom version will be from €400,000 for 1,335 sq ft of floor space.
All kitchens are constructed with a contemporary finish including a range of Zanussi integrated appliances. Wardrobes are shaker style and Villeroy & Boch got the fit-out for the bathrooms.
Energy is via natural gas central heating with a top-end condensing boiler to manage the efficiency. uPVC windows are double glazed and there is a heat recovery ventilation system installed also with PV roof panels.
Dalriada is located off the Ballycullen Road in Knocklyon.
It means that Dundrum Town Centre and Marlay Park are nearby, as is the M50 junction, and there are also some regular bus routes with stops just outside the development.
Viewing is this Saturday and Sunday from 2-4pm
