The final phase of 15 houses have now been released for sale at Coill Dubh, which translates as "black wood" - the development was named after the adjoining Blackwood Lane, which leads to the 27-hole Malahide Golf Club.

The first two phases of 60 houses were sold at Coill Dubh after the scheme was privately launched in March.

This development of family homes, beside the well-heeled seaside village of Malahide, is laid out in a series of small cul-de-sacs surrounding a landscaped open space. The houses themselves are traditional in design, with red-brick facades.

The three-bed townhouses and semi-detached houses cost €445,000, while prices for the four-bed detached homes start at €600,000 and begin at €785,000 for the five-bed detached properties.

The 'A' rated homes are located directly opposite Malahide Community School in Broomfield. Coill Dubh is about a mile from Malahide Village and is close to the 12th-century Malahide Castle, the marina, and a mile-long beach. Commuters to the centre of Dublin can use the Dart station at Malahide or Dublin Bus services.

Viewing at Coill Dubh will be held between 5pm-7pm tomorrow, Sunday and Monday, or by appointment.
