O'Leary & O'Sullivan, a Cork developer, has released 10 new builds at its Ard na Coille scheme on Burke's Hill in the Cork suburb of Mayfield as house-hunters in the city snap up new homes before they are barely out of the ground.
Indeed, RE/MAX Cork & County, the selling agent for Ard na Coille, says four of the 10 houses have already been reserved.
The scheme of 24 three-bed and four-bed semi-detached houses being built on an elevated south-facing site in Mayfield is now in its third phase, with house numbers one through 14 having been sold already.
Prices for numbers 15 to 24 range from €240,000 for a three-bed to €275,000 for a four-bed.
The properties are traditional block-built homes finished with a natural stone facade, an attractive stone entrance wall and pillars, and paved driveways with space for two cars.
Interior features include spacious ensuites and moulded skirting and architrave.
Buyers have a choice of built-in kitchens, fitted wardrobes, bathroom ware and paint finishes. They will also be able to cut their energy bills as these well-insulated A-rated homes have solar panels that heat water, tripled-glazed UPV windows and energy-efficient gas boilers. Ard na Coille is within a short walking distance of public transport facilities, with the No 8 bus stop just 100m from the development.
Motorists can access the North Ring Road and the Dunkettle interchange via Burke's Hill.
Viewing is by appointment only.
