School students who want to be doctors, or members of the public who would like to see what doctors do, can tune into a new interactive live-streamed broadcast by the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) on December 9.

Viewers can pre-register on the RCSI website for 'So you want to be a doctor' at www.rcsi.ie/beadoc and they will be sent a link to the stream via email on the morning of each broadcast.

All you have to do then is click on the link at the time of broadcast to watch it from a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet.

Or if you do not register in advance, you can still watch the stream on the RCSI website (www.rcsi.ie) or on the College's Twitter (twitter.com/RCSI_Irl) and Facebook (facebook.com/rcsi123) pages. You see inside the surgical theatre of Beaumont Hospital and learn about fighting superbugs.
