A special screening of Hotel Transylvania 2 is being held this weekend in aid of the 'Hope for Cian' campaign which aims to raise funds for a 4-year-old boy suffering from a life-threatening condition.
Cian McDonnell Lynch, from Carlanstown, Kells, Co Meath suffers from the very rare condition Dyskeratosis Congenita, which will lead to his lungs failing.
Doctors recently gave Cian's parents Lisa McDonnell and Donal Lynch the devastating news that Cian may only have months to live.
However, the family has not given up hope and Cian is currently being assessed for a lung transplant at Boston Children's Hospital.
The lung transplant alone will cost $1m so Cian's family and friends have set up the 'Hope for Cian' campaign in an effort to raise funds.
Sony Pictures have teamed up with the Savoy Cinema in Dublin for a special screening of the newly-released family animation Hotel Transylvania 2 on Sunday October 4.
Tickets cost €10 for one ticket, €15 for two, or €25 for a family pass of four tickets. There will be fun in the foyer from 10.30am with the film kicking off at 11am.
