Mindful moment… Are you in touch with your inner voice?
Sometimes we are given opportunities in life that seem brilliant on paper but for some reason they just don't feel right. It might be a job, a relationship, or a property that ticks all the boxes but for some reason it makes you feel nervous in your tummy - or a tiny voice in the back of your head says "this isn't right".
It can be very hard to walk away from the 'good on paper' opportunities that come our way - especially when friends and family think you're crazy - but you are not crazy. Far from it.
If we let it, our intuition tells us everything we need to know. It might not make sense - but it is always right. Always. And the more you listen to it the louder it will speak to you about all sorts of things.
Meditation and mindfulness can help calm our brains enough to be able to tap into our intuition. So can a long, quiet walk. Close your eyes and ask yourself about something you need to decide on in your life. You'll be amazed at how quickly and clearly an answer will pop into your head, if you give yourself enough silence. The more you listen to your intuition the less you'll feel the need to listen to other people's opinions. And this is freedom.
