Khloe Kardashian admits the secret to her 11lb pre-Christmas weight loss
Throughout the past two years, Khloe Kardashian has completely transformed her body but the star admitted that she had fallen off the wagon following her ex-husband’s hospitalisation last month.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star recently returned to the gym and has shed almost a stone in six weeks following her reunion with Lamar Odom.
Khloe admitted that cutting dairy from her diet was the key to her 11lb pre-Christmas slim-down.
Speaking to New Beauty magazine the star said: "I'm obsessed with cheese and milk, but eliminating them from my diet made the biggest difference”
"In a month and a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy, without doing anything else different, and that totally blew my mind."
Irish model Rosanna Davison also believes that cutting out dairy is the key to healthy living.
"There is simply no space for moderation when it comes to dairy,” Rosanna wrote on her blog.
“This is always one of the very first dietary modifications I recommend to clients, friends and family when they ask me for advice on their diet. Eliminate it entirely. Remove it from your diet and watch your beauty, vitality and energy levels increase within a matter of weeks.”
However, Rosanna’s suggestions came up against criticism from the Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association (ICMSA), who said it was irresponsible to advise the nation to cut a whole food group from their diet.
Meanwhile Khloe has suggested the reason for her lack of gym motivation was her estranged husband Lamar Odom’s hospitalisation following an alcohol and drugs fuelled binge in a Las Vegas brothel in October.
In a post to her Instagram account in this month Khloe wrote: “I have not worked out since the beginning of October due to a slew of reasons.
“It's crazy, how just in that short amount of time how your body can change. I need the gym in my life! My mind and body don't respond well without the gym! Not feeling cute right now.”
